Our Vision

photo_6.jpg Tabitha House was opened on October 10, 1997 through the vision of a handful of people seeing the need for a women's facility in the Kansas City area for those suffering from substance abuse. Delphine Sydnor became the Resident Director at that time and is still serving in that capacity. Delphine's burden for addicted women is deeply rooted in her own deliverance. Tabitha House has grown in reputation throughout the Midwest recon over the past seven years, and incorporated under its own name as a 501 (c)(3) in May of 2002.

Our vision is that Tabitha House will expand to a facility
able to house 100 women, snatching them from the grip of the devil, ministering to women from all over the Nation and ultimately seeing those same women being powerfully used for the Kingdom of God.
